Established in 2009, the Seoul Expats’ Handball Club bills itself as a multicultural team with players from Africa, America, Europe, Oceania and Korea.
The team trains every Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Korean National Sport University gym (Olympic Park Station) and participates in the Korean Handball Amateur League, with up to three games per month.
Christophe Nivaggioli, 30, in Korea for four years, is a Seoul Expats’ Handball Club player, manager and coach.
“As the first expat handball club created in Korea, the Seoul Expats Handball Club aims at giving everybody the opportunity to play the sport of handball in Seoul and around Korea,” said Nivaggioli.
“Male and female players, beginners and experts, foreigners and Koreans -- everybody is welcome, so do not hesitate to visit.”
