The Irish Association of Korea is holding a special Meet and Greet Night on Saturday September 4 in the Wolfhound Irish Pub in Itaewon. This gathering is for all those who have recently arrived in Korea and for those of you who have been here all along!
The event is an informal gathering for all who are from and are interested in Ireland. Expect to meet fellow Irish people who involved in all areas of life in Korea. The IAK are looking forward to meeting you and sharing a few pints, having a laugh, while we can show what we have prepared for the rest of the year.
The event will feature some contemporary Irish music and a raffle, featuring prizes kindly donated by the Wolfhound.
The meeting will begin at 9pm and carry on until around midnight, although that doesn't mean you have to go home to bed afterwards.
The Irish Association of Korea is a non-profit events based organisation that is dedicated to promoting Ireland within the global atmosphere that Korea encourages. We usually hold about four major events a year, the main one being the St. Patricks Festival in March where upwords of 20,000 people have attended and participated through the years. This is the largest event on the expat calendar and the Irish Association of Korea is the most active national society in Korea.
